Noah joined GRSB in 1999 and the board in 2005. He is the fourth generation of the Wilcox family to lead the bank. Noah has served both the local community and the banking industry in numerous volunteer leadership positions. Recently, Noah concluded his term as chairman of the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation after serving seven years on their board of directors. Noah was appointed a state director for the Independent Community Bankers of America, a nation association for community banks, after serving five years on their board as an elected director and two years as a member of their executive committee. After six years serving the Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota, Noah became chairman of the state association in August of 2012. He has served as a past director and past chairman of the Itasca County Family YMCA, as a an advisor to the Itasca Econmic Development Authority and as a director and past president of the Grand Rapids Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society, delivering on his belief that community bankers have a civic duty to be proactive participants in the communities they serve. Noah is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Graduate School of Banking.

Steven initiated his association with Grand Rapids State Bank as a student in 1964. After graduating from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN, his full time work status began in June 1971. He currently serves as President of the bank holding company, Wilcox Bancshares, Inc. Steven has served in various industry and community leadership posts over his 40 year career. In 2007, he was named "Banker of the Year" by Northwestern Financial Review.

Steven Burggraf joined the Grand Rapids State Bank board of directors in April 2012. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he earned a degree in Small Business Management and Sales and Marketing. Steve brings experience in business management in northern Minnesota: he is a co-owner of four Ace Hardware stores, including Burggraf's Ace Hardware and Paint Company in Grand Rapids, since 1989. Steve has been a Grand Rapids resident since 1989, and is active in several business and community organizations. He is the current Ace Hardware Dealer Group Leader for the Northern Minnesota Group; a member of the BAD (Big Ace Dealers); and a director of the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation. Steve also owns the Grand Rapids Ground Round and eight Verizon Wireless stores in northern Minnesota.
James J. (Jim) Hoolihan is the CEO of Industrical Lubricant Company and Can-Jer, Grand Rapids, Minnesota-based companies providing industrial lubricants, supplies and services to the taconite, logging and railroad industries. The Hoolihan family has owned the businesses for more than 70 years.
A native of Grand Rapids, Jim served as Grand Rapids mayor from 1990 through 1995. He served as the Blandin Foundation's president and CEO from 2004 to 2011. Jim has served on several civic boards and commissions, including the Ready for K board of directors; the Governor's Task Force on Mining and Minerals; United Way of Grand Rapids campaign chair; and chair of Itasca Development Corporation/Jobs 2020. He is a past trustee of the College of St. Scholastica. Jim currently serves on the board of directors for the Duluth-based ALLETE, Inc. and is a trustee of the Blandin Foundation.
Jim holds a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, a master's of business degree from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Stephen Welliver is a well respected businessman and principal of Wellson Group, Inc. Steve has served Grand Rapids State Bank in the capacity as a director since 1996. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas - Finance and the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis College of Forestry, Steve has an excellent background in this area's chief economic business - forest products. Steve currently serves as President of the City of Grand Rapids Public Utilities Board. A lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, he has been an active volunteer with youth coaching and has served on many boards, and in leadership roles, locally and nationally.
Ed joined the GRSB board in 1996 and the bank's senior management team in 2008. For 20 years, Ed worked as an executive of Blandin Paper Company with responsibilities for public affairs and human resources. He is president of MotherLode North America and the principal of Zabinski Consulting, LLC. Ed was elected to the Grand Rapids City Council in November 2008. He serves as president of the City of Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority; as a board member of the Northland Foundation and Northspan. He earned an associate’s degree from Vermillion Community College, a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
