After 11 years on the job, one of the things Jeni Dorr appreciates the most about her experience at Grand Rapids State Bank is the relationships she’s built with her customers and fellow employees.
“Over the years I’ve gotten to know my customers and it’s been a very rewarding experience getting to know them on a more personal level,” Jeni explained.
Jeni’s primary roles at the bank’s Pokegama Office on the south side of Grand Rapids are an Administrative Assistant and Account Service Representative.
Jeni works with the Lending Team processing consumer, real estate and commercial loans. Processing loans is a precise science, and it is Jeni’s job to dot the i’s and cross the t’s while the loan officers work with customers to help them achieve their goals.
“The other aspect of my job involves helping customers with all the other products we have to offer here at GRSB,” she continued. “From opening new deposit accounts and CD’s to e-banking and resetting personal identification numbers, we take calls and walk-in questions all day long. I take pride in responding with enough care and concern so my customers truly feel as though they’ve been helped.”
When she’s not working, Jeni likes traveling and spending time with family and friends. She hopes someday to visit Prague at Christmas time to see the huge Christmas market for which that Czech Republic city is known.
Jeni and her husband, Al, an engineering line staker at Lake Country Power, have two teen-aged children: Ali and Jace.
